By using House Design AI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

- We don't store your photos. Photos are processed in real time and immediately discarded.

- No account required. We don't ask for your name, email, or address, and we don't know where your home is.

Photos and How We Process Them
House Design AI transforms photos of home exteriors and interiors into visualizations of different architectural and interior design styles. Here is exactly how we handle the photos you upload.
What we collect
We collect photos you choose to upload from your device's photo library or capture with your camera. Before leaving your device, each photo is:
- Resized to 1024 pixels on its longest side to optimize processing
- Re-encoded as a compressed JPEG, which removes embedded metadata such as GPS location, capture time, and device details
- Processed on a temporary, transient basis only
- Never stored permanently on our servers
Location and property information
Photos of a home can be sensitive because they may reveal where you live. We take the following approach:
- We do not request or use your device's location permission
- GPS coordinates embedded in photo metadata are stripped before upload as part of image preparation
- We do not ask for, collect, or store your address or any property records
- We do not attempt to identify a property or link photos to a real-world location
People and pets in photos
House Design AI is built for photos of buildings and rooms, not people. We do not perform facial recognition, create biometric identifiers, or analyze faces in any way. If a person or pet happens to appear in a photo you upload, that image is handled exactly like any other: processed transiently and discarded. We recommend uploading photos without identifiable people in them.
How we use your photos
Your photos are processed by Google's Gemini AI model via Google's Generative Language API to generate a visualization of your home in the style you selected. This happens in real time through a process that:
- Analyzes the uploaded photo
- Applies the architectural or interior style you chose
- Generates a new image showing the redesign
- Returns the result to your device
- Typically completes in 10–30 seconds
Data sharing with Google
Photos are transmitted to Google LLC's Generative Language API for AI processing. The transmission uses:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption to protect your photos in transit
- Base64 encoding for image data
- Google Cloud infrastructure for processing
According to Google's Generative AI Service Terms, content submitted through the paid tier of the API is:
- Processed transiently for the requested transformation only
- Not used to train or improve Google's AI models
- Not retained after processing is complete, other than short-term retention for abuse and policy enforcement
- Subject to Google's security and privacy standards
No other third-party sharing
We do not share your photos with any third party other than Google's API service. We do not:
- Sell or rent your photos to advertisers or data brokers
- Use your photos for marketing or promotional purposes
- Share your photos with analytics companies
- Store your photos on our servers or databases
- Allow any other service to access your photos
Storage and retention
On your device:
- Original photos remain in your photo library under your control
- Generated designs are saved only to your device's local storage
- You can delete generated images at any time
During processing:
- Photos exist in temporary memory only for the duration of the transformation
- Photos pass through our processing service to Google's API and are not written to disk
- No copies are stored on our servers at any point
Retention period: Zero. We do not retain your photos after processing is complete. Google processes and discards images according to its API terms.
Your control
- You choose which photos to upload; we never access your library without permission
- You can delete generated images from your device at any time
- You can stop using the service at any time without consequence
- No account is required, so there is no profile tied to your identity
Security
- HTTPS/TLS 1.2+ encryption for all data in transit
- Google Cloud security infrastructure for processing
- No permanent storage, which means no long-term exposure
- No user accounts or passwords to be compromised
- Minimal data collection by design
Information We Collect

- Photos: Images you upload for design transformations, as described above
- Style preferences: The styles and options you select, stored locally on your device only
Automatically collected information
House Design AI does not include any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not build usage profiles, and we do not use advertising identifiers.
Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized app performance and crash information if you have opted into sharing diagnostics with developers in your device settings. This data is controlled by Apple, cannot be used to identify you, and can be turned off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
How We Use Information
- Service delivery: Processing your design transformation requests
- Technical support: Diagnosing and fixing bugs or technical issues
- Safety and security: Detecting and preventing abuse or fraudulent activity
- Legal compliance: Complying with applicable laws and regulations
Subscriptions and Payments
House Design AI offers subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system:
- All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store
- We do not collect or store your payment information
- Subscription management is handled in your Apple ID account settings
- We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; they do not receive payment information

Children's Privacy
House Design AI is not intended for users under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used our service, please contact us at support@appmagic.co. Because we do not store photos or personal information, there is nothing to delete from our servers. Any generated images would be stored only on the child's device and can be deleted from the photo library at any time.

Google Generative Language API
We use Google's Gemini API for AI processing. Review the terms at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat for subscription management. They may collect:
- Subscription status and transaction history
- Device identifiers used to validate subscriptions
- Anonymous usage analytics related to purchases

Apple App Store

Data Transfers
Your information, including photos, may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside your country of residence. By using House Design AI, you consent to such transfers. We take steps to ensure these transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request information about what data we hold, which in our case is minimal
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data; note that we do not store photos
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by:
- Posting the updated policy at this address
- Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of the page
- Providing an in-app notice for material changes
Your continued use of House Design AI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will:
